SimpleFuel Ltd ("SimpleFuel", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. We are the data controller for the personal data we process about you. This policy applies to our website, our quote and application forms, the AdBlue shop, and the products and services we supply. It is written to comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

SimpleFuel Ltd supplies fuel cards, bulk fuel, AdBlue, vehicle telematics, fleet cameras and business SIMs to UK businesses, registered in England & Wales. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us using the details in section 10.
2. The information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, business name, email address, phone number and postcode.
- Business & fleet details — company type, registration and VAT numbers, trading address, fleet size, vehicle types and registrations, and fuel usage.
- Application details — information needed for a fuel card or product application, including bank details for Direct Debit set-up where relevant.
- Order details — AdBlue and DVS kit orders, delivery addresses, and installation requirements.
- Account & usage data — invoices, order history and basket contents, and technical data such as IP address, device and browser information collected via cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal data to:
- Respond to enquiries and prepare quotes for the products you ask about;
- Process fuel card and product applications and set up your account;
- Fulfil AdBlue and DVS orders, including arranging delivery and installation;
- Provide customer support and manage your account, invoices and reordering;
- Comply with our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations; and
- Improve our website and services.
4. Our lawful bases
We rely on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR: performance of a contract (to provide the products and services you request); legitimate interests (to run and improve our business, where your rights do not override these); consent (for certain marketing, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (for tax, accounting and compliance).
5. Who we share it with
To supply the product you've asked for, we share the information necessary with the relevant providers and partners, including:
- Fuel card networks and fuel suppliers underwriting or fulfilling your products;
- Telematics and tracking providers, where you take a vehicle tracking or camera product;
- Capital on Tap, where you choose to apply for a business credit card via our referral;
- Payment, delivery, installation and IT providers acting on our behalf.
We only share what is needed, and we require our partners to keep your data secure. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) to remember your basket, accessibility preferences and login state, and to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the site works.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, including to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Application and account records are typically retained for the duration of the relationship and for a period afterwards as required by law.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Payment card details entered in our shop are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by SimpleFuel.
